Your Application
Enrollment for the school year begins the spring prior to the school year, with Priority Enrollment for current students first. Eastgate Christian School is a year-round school, and enrollment is continuously filled throughout the year and summer as space becomes available. Applications are accepted year-round. All families sign contracts at the time of enrollment. Please note that the contract assumes continuous enrollment through July 31 and a 30-day written notice to the office is required for any withdrawal; tuition for the full 30-day notice period is owed regardless of attendance.
Enrollment Fees
A non-refundable Annual Enrollment Fee is due at the time of registration for new families and in March for returning families:
- $500 – New Student Enrollment (first student of new families)
- $250 – Returning Student Enrollment (first student of returning families, each year)
- $250 – New Sibling Enrollment (siblings of students already enrolled, each year)
These fees secure your child's placement and cover the various initial costs the school incurs in setting up and maintaining your enrollment.
Refundable Deposit
A $750 refundable deposit per family is also required at the time of registration to secure your child's spot. A three-payment installment option of $250 is available upon request and must be paid within the first two months of enrollment. The deposit is returned on the child's last day, provided a 30-day withdrawal notice has been submitted, all tuition and fees are paid in full, and all financial agreement terms have been honored.
What's Included in Tuition
Our tuition packages cover all regular and recurring expenses—there are no surprise fees outside of the contract. Tuition includes hot lunches and snacks, curriculum and books, onsite field trips, Brightwheel online portal access, a PE shirt, a napper, diapering fees (2's), and a graduation package (TK). Brightwheel is a helpful platform for families to check their child in and out daily and an easy way for teachers to communicate with families throughout the day.
Sibling Discount
Families with a child already enrolled receive 10% off for siblings' tuition.
Subsidy & Military Family Programs
We are proud to partner with CDA (Child Development Associates), the YMCA, and Child Care Aware of America to support military families and families participating in subsidy programs. Please let us know upon enrolling if you are receiving a subsidy through any of the organizations above so we can coordinate billing and required paperwork.
Our school offers a full-time program along with extended care. If parents require part-time options, please don't hesitate to contact us. We strive to accommodate every family's needs, and if space is available, we would be delighted to assist.
We reserve the right to discontinue enrollment if the policies and procedures of the preschool do not meet the needs of parents and children.

Requirements and Policies
Eastgate Christian Preschool accepts children ages two through five who are within the normal range of health and development and who can benefit from such a program.
Eastgate Christian Preschool is a ministry of Grace City Church. ECS is a private school and reserves the right to accept or refuse any application. The submission of an application, signed by a parent or legal guardian, does not guarantee enrollment or indicate any right to available spaces at ECS.
According to California law parents/guardians must turn in all enrollment forms including medical forms and immunization records before a child is allowed to attend school. The following immunizations are required for those children 2-years-old and older:
- POLIO (OPV or IPV): 3 immunizations
- DTP/Dta/DT/Td: 4 immunizations
- MMR: 1 immunization
- HIB: 1 immunization
- Hep B: 3 immunizations
- Var: 2 immunizations
